Pas op! Oplichting door Global Edition KFT

Vandaag ontving Knooppunt post uit Hongarije. Helaas bleek het te gaan om een poging tot oplichting voor bijna € 3.000,-

Het Hongaarse bedrijf "Global Edition KFT" probeert bedrijven op te lichten die (o.a.) een registratie hebben (lopen) bij het Benelux Merkenbureau.

Het lijkt te gaan om een betaling voor wereldwijde registratie. Het is echter niets meer dan een poging tot oplichting!

Bij een zoektocht op internet kwamen we enkel op buitenlandse sites terrecht:

Het Franse Institut National de la Propriete Industrielle (Nationaal instituut van het Industriële Eigendom)

Het Zweedse merken en patent bemiddelingsbureau Groth&Co

Een Deens Patent bedrijf

Dankzij de vertaalsite's Systranbox en InterTran was snel te ontdekken dat het om ordinaire oplichting gaat.

Ook op de website van het Benelux Merkenbureau staat inmiddels een waarschuwing in drie talen:
- Nederlands
- Frans
- Engels
Ook op hun nieuwpagina wordt er op 31-01-2006 een artikel aan besteed.

Warning! Swindle by Global Edition KFT
Today 'Knooppunt' received mail from Hungary. Unfortunately it was soon apperant that is was an attempt to swindle for almost € 3,000.

 

The Hungarian company "Global Edition KFT" tries to swindle companies which (among other things) have a registration at Benelux trademarks office.

The mail looks like a payment for worldwide registration. It is however nothing more than an attempt to swindle!

A search on the internet resulted only in foreign sites:

The French Institut National de la Propriete Industrielle (National institute of industrial property)

A Swedish registration and patent conciliation office Groth&Co

A Danish Patent company

Thanks to the translation site's Systranbox and InterTran it was soon discovered that it concerns ordinary swindle.
